My relatives came down from KL for the weekend. We always stay at their place wan when we're at KL and they do the same when they come down to Ipoh. It's like 'family homestay'. Hehee.
A whole day outing on Saturday. We first went to Tambun to buy pamelos. Since we bought alot of pamelos, we got a complementary one. Hehee. Although I seldom eat it but tis pamelo was sweet and juicy. Yums. Had nasi lemak and fu chok yi mai for breakie at the shop near my house. I feel they make the nicest fu chok yi mai drink around. Really yummy. =) Next, we had a short pitstop at my house to leave all the pamelos behind before continuing our journey to our destination for-the-day! Tadadaaa. Sitiawan.:) Setiawan has this famous temple over there so we went there to pray. By the time, it was almost 3pm. So we had seafood for lunch in Sitiawan. It was yummy and worthwhile too. Actually, we went Sitiawan to eat seafood a few times before ady but I think this restaurant we go to serves the best delicious dishes among all the few ones that we've tried so far dee ler. The pricing's reasonable and the foodie is fresh too.:) Our last stop was no other than a few Big Digit places (the adults hobby. aiseh). Haha.
And off, we headed back to Ipoh. Since we passed by Station 18 on the way home, dad suggested that we jalan-jalan at Aeon ler and so we did. While walking around, bumped into Pei San. So long never see her ady but her absolutely tall height makes her easily spotted. Wkakaa.:P Since we check out the cinemas (not to catch a movie but to see what movies are showing now. Lol), I bought this BBQ popcorn limited time only at TGV cos I remembered my eldest bro saying it tastes not bad wen. The popcorn had this strange but nice taste at the same time ler but after eating too much, felt ulwehs and lips were really dry dee. Omiemo.
Although it was a short drive up to Sitiawan, it was still quite enjoyable ler.=) It made me feel like blogging about my Sarawak trip again (which is long overdue). There are other things that I'd like to blog too, like my Form 6 life and my current dilemma now. But you know that feeling of 'ermmm.. A bit lazy now la..Wait first laa..'?? Haha. Its call Procrastination. zzZz. I found out something new too, that 'Pro' comes from the latin meaning 'for' and 'cras' in latin means 'tommorow'. So that means, for tommorow. Makes so much sense ryte? For lazybumbums. Wakakaa.
Had a terrible tummy ache for the past two days too. Ulwehs. Remember that horror show I was talking about earlier? I finished watching it!!! The title's The Master's Sun.:)) It's not that scary as I thought after all. The ending tied up all the loose ends very nicely also. A cheerful and happy endingg.:) At first, there were many scary ghosts that pop up in the show ler but later on, most ghosts appear as the sad, helpless and sympathetic kind. Its actually quite a meaningful show cos there's many different sub-stories in it altogether. There's 17 episodes overall so in almost each episode, a different ghost appears. The story that surrounds their death is unravelled and an honest revelation comes to light. The development of the storyline towards the end was good too. And the synopsis? It's about this girl who is able to see ghosts and is afraid of them but it makes them go away when she touches the main guy character. =) Ohya, rating it 4 stars ler. Hehehee. I'm liking the OSTs as well.
Okay, I got lots of time to type thats why I'm here, more frequently than I should. Haha. I'm chao-ing for now. Tata!:)

Cleaning Frenzy
I spring cleaned my room yesterday. Unintentionally, that is.
I found my mom shifting an unused mattress into my room and kacau-ing
some other things which remained untouched in my room for a long long time ady.
Those soft toys and plushie all that. Then I started complaining la bout the
dust flying around everywhere in the room. If I were my mom, I can imagine myself naik marah dee. Haha. But she being my mum of course looked
for a broom and came back into my room wif one. When I saw her holding the
broom, I somehow invoulunteerily reach out for it and told her "I sweep laa". (Maybe feeling a sense of guilt for complaining) Huhuhu.
Minutes later, I was busy sweeping my room. I discovered that worrrh, there were lots of dust everywhere (especially under my bed! Eeks). Not that dust can be counted but it was a lot for just a room. Specks and specks of dust clumped together into like some cloud of dust. Omoo. I gathered the dust wif a dustpan and placed them in the waste paper basket la. I cleared up some unnecesarry stuffs in my room and it went straight into the waste paper basket too. *Ploop!!*. After finish sweeping, I casually look around if there's anymore cleaning to do and discovered MORE DUST. Dust everywhere! Ulwekks. Dust not on the floor but just lying around on things. The sight of dust, dust and more dust just made me compelled to start wiping everything with a wet cloth. *the spring cleaning mode ON*…

I came in and out of
the room toilet dunno how many times to use the sink. Hope it won’t suddenly
clog in a few days time wif da dust trappings. Huhu. I went on to clean the bed
frame, the furniture edges, glass windows, what not. While I was rinsing the
cloth at the sink (after dunno what number of time), I was thinking in my head like,
“Luckily I didn’t sleep wif air-cond on” (otherwise I would
have breathe in a lot of dust)
“I’m thankful that I used a stand fan instead”, feeling kinda
grateful…
After rinsing the
cloth, I walked out of the bathroom to find more spots to clean. Walked straight
towards my fan, *shocked*…There’s more dust here than I’ve cleaned so far. At
that time, I felt not so thankful anymore. T.T
I spent lots of time cleaning the fan frantically after
which, I started wiping my printer and even proceed to wiping the room walls. Ahaha.
Crazy I noe. After cleaning that dusty fan, my impression of more dust was to
clean, wipe, clean. Driven by this ‘Clean this up!!! Not even a single dust
must be left!’ mode. Haha. I can’t imagine how I slept with layers of dust just
a few centimeters below my pillow and right above my head. There’s this world
map above my head and it was blanketed with layers of filthy dust. Eerhs. Anyways, ultimately,
I sleep everyday in a world of thick dust, I breathe in large amounts of them too (with da fan blowing directly). :/ I sorted
out lots of papers and textbooks also. Bout this books n papers, still haven’t decided what to do wif
them erh. I had two more piles of books to sort out wen but my mom tidied it up for me a bit so only for that small bit, everything else is cleaned in the end. Spring cleaning mission complete! :) Thankiuu to my mom, she helped me to tidy that last leftover bit. AND that dongu dust everywhere, thanks to those, I had the outburst of spring cleaning mode.
This morning, I woke up wif a nose block. :S Must be yesterday's dust while cleaning. But this time,
I think I can be thankful dee since I cleaned my whole room already. Not like before. Hmf hmfs. Now I feel better. Sleeping in a room
wif less dust.
A room wif less dust. =)
A room wif less dust. =)

Whats up?
Dad went pasar malam just now and brought back a few jars of ngaku potato chips. Yipees! =) Can't wait to munch 'em when I watch my drama or when I feel the sudden rush of hunger esp in the midnite. yumyum. hehee.:P I actually really like the crabstick one too. Although all these cookies and chips are expensive and oily too, I lovee to eat 'em. What to do, yummy food are always unhealthy, they're mostly expensive too. :/ If only I can make them on my own. Those ppl selling them really untung alot eh. But I realli look forward to cny becos of this cookies and also, angpao of cos. $$$$$. wkaka. =)
Started watching a new drama yest. First time watching such a weird drama genre combination. Let me tell u, the main genre's Horror. I didn't manage to watch the first episode properly when watchin it on youtube. Cos one eye open, the other eye close.hahaha. Although I tried to brave myself to sit through the whole first episode, I didn't dare to watch it full screened and couldn't concentrate on some parts oso fearing some ghost will pop up.:S Its a drama centred on the horror genre but wif a combination of comedy, romance and fantasy too ler. Haha. The first ghost that appeared was within the first 5 mins of the show. Got a small shock cos it was scaryy. The first thought that came to my mind at first glance was a recall of The Conjuring show. Eeeksss. And I dunno how many ghosts and its apparitions appeared just in that one episode itself. :/ But I still finished watching it. Talk about bravery. Ahem.:) jkjk la. I dun like ghost shows and I never watch it alone be4. Yest was the first time. Omo. Since I like to scroll through and read ppl's cmmts on youtube oso, saw what a youtube user wrote...'Omg..pls help me through the episodes..' Lol. I find it quite funny cos I too felt scared while watchin. I dun wana sound old, but realli, I duno if my heart can take the suspense.:S Hahha. But I saw some good reviews of the show and da actress is from the comedy drama The Greatest Love, quite funny n cute show, so tats y gona resume wif episode 3 later if I can sum up the courage. huhu. The preview looked scary. *dubdub* Hope it'll be nice. T.T
Reading an adventure series currently too which I found in my brother's shelves quite sometime ago. If there's one thing, the type of books that my bro used to read are almost all the guys kind wen. Adventure, sci-fi and those Da Vinci books kind. Mostly are not my taste wen(altho liking adventure now) so I never really read any of his books except for a few. When I discovered this series, a bit regret that I didn't started it earlier. Its called 'Pendragon' and my bro has 6 books out of all the whole series. The front cover ler, its very boy-ish and thats why I thought it'll be another of his books dat I dun think I'll like. Then, I'm reading it now. Its not to say super amazing or anything. Its just a book that is easy to read and enjoy. Even if I leave it aside temporarily and continue again.:) But its a bit past the age where I should read this series dee. Maybe 13-15 age group that kind suits best cos of the way the author writes but I still read the series. So far quite nice. I guess we really shouldn't judge a book by its cover, literally. Huhu.
I have plans of what I wanna do like getting smtg do or a job, exercise abit maybe? To stay healthy. Cos I can feel my muscles all getting 'tighten' and fatigued for no reason. Then, learn how to cook some simple but delicious food and brush up my guitar skills. Somehow none of this are fulfilled or close to getting realli started pun. T.T *oora oora* I definitely gotta spend time more prudentially.=)

The King 2 Hearts
If you're not a korean fan, betah dun proceed further with this post. Its another of my korean drama ramblings. huhu. So before u regret reading or faint, go press the X cursor on ur screen at the right-hand corner above. =]
I finished watching The King 2 Hearts (TK2H), another Kdrama. hehe.:)
A lil' 'dramafever' now!! haha. It took me about a week to finish the series but oohooo, the show's pretty awesomee.:) 4 stars!!:) There's military, action, romance, politics, royalty and abit of everything so not bad ler. Actually I came across one episode on tv when I was in KL and I saw Ha Ji Won acting in it that attracted me to watch it. I'm quite a fan of hers after watching Secret Garden. Hehe. I've never really watch shows starring Lee Seung Gi oso except a bit of My GF Is A Gumiho but he's the male lead in TK2H. After watching that episode and because of these two, I decided to give it a go.
I didn't know if I really like the show at first or not because the first few episodes seemed a bit comical to me. And let me introduce you to the self-centred and powerful villain, Club M's president, John Mayerrr. His name's english but the actor was a korean ler. I'm so tempted to press the skip video button everytime I watch his individual scenes because its somehow annoying. I don't know if its him or that song that plays in the background but its like everytime when he appears, I feel like..do, re, mi...*skip..skip..Skip!* but of course, I didn't la. Maybe once or twice only. Haha! His obsession for performing magic tricks is nehh..unimpressive too. Even then, the show definitely needed his character. Cos the plot revolves heavily around him so really, credits still goes to him. This is also the first korean show with really many angmohs acting in it, Mayer's sidekicks and many other 'kalaffe' roles. At times, it makes me feel disconnected with the show. I sound like I dislike the show alot ehh? :P
But I actually likee the show!:) After the first few episodes, it became really interesting when the show became more 'serious' and LSG's character shined.:) I liked all the military scenes. Especially the intensed WOC competition episode. So niceee. Boom boom!:D Actually the plot's about unifying N. Korea and S. Korea through an adjoined North-South Korea military team representing Korea in a tournament called WOC and through a North-south political marriage. LSG, an unworthy prince of S. Korea meets HJW, a tough N. Korea woman military officer but a hopeless romantic during the WOC training. Together, LSG as the new king of S. Korea (after a royal family assasination) and HJW tries to find evidence of the assasination and advocate peace for both nations. Club M, an influential international organisation, however does all it can to prevent the unification of both regions of Korea. That's basically the main storyline ler. Hehee.
LSG and HJW's love is abit unlike others too. They both loved each other but their loyalty rooted towards their own nation is also great. So they kinda faced off several times as a king and military officer but they still love each other. Makes sense? Sounds like no right. Nyek nyek. But Eun Shi Kyungggg!!! Whaaaa..the 2nd male lead. I like his character personally especially as the personal bodyguard of the princess of the royal family, the 2nd female lead. I really adore this unofficial 'couple' of the princess and him from the start. Eees!:D I dunno if the 2nd leads' love story are my fave or the first but their little moments in this show are beautiful.:))
ESK plays the role as this serious, humorless but honourable military officer and royal guard. The princess liked him but he never revealed any feelings for her of that sort of course. Professionalism ma. In the final episodes, she watched a videotape recording specially made for her by him (right before his latest mission and if ever he died). And so, yes, the scriptwriter killed off his character. After his death only, she knew how strong his feelings were for her. Sad case-nyer. Omies. T.T What really draws me to this type of characters is their strong sense of pride in their duty and honour that they're willing to put their life and everything at stake for that cause. As rigid as they may be, they too, are capable of loving.
Okies. Memang dramatic I know. HAHA. Sometimes after completing a series, I feel like there won't be another drama that'll be able to surpass my expectations of the drama that I've just finished (especially the ones that I've gotten hooked to). Now, I feel that way again. It usually happens for that temporary 'drama-fan' moment. But then another drama comes out, I start off watching another and find out that it's equally good or even...better!:) Rarely do I come across a not that nice drama (although there are a few) and that's the ones that goes unfinished, by me. heheee. But in the end, I guess the reason why I watch Korean dramas a lot in particular is because of the feel-good feeling. Wheess! :)
Sorrie if I bore anyone out with these posts but I just can't help it. Fan mode on. ehehee.:)

Drama and reflections
Just finished a drama series, Good Doctor. Its not the happy-go-lucky kind of drama (although I wish it was a little more, for my own personal preference. hehee.) But for this reason also, the plot's actually quite believable and realistic. Not the best drama but not bad ler. 3/5 stars. haha.
Its about a Savant syndrome medic resident who has to overcome bias in his pursue to become a surgeon. There are some strengths in this drama. Like how the filming is done such that it does not focus solely on bringing out the characters of the main casts alone but potrays a reasonable depth for the supporting roles too. Then, there's NO cliche love triangles but instead, a strong brother-sisterlike love that develops into a couple sort of love later on. The scriptwriter took the effort to highlight many positive themes and reminders on human nature and relationships as well. The political part of the drama is also still bearable la. Even most of the 'bad guys' in this drama turn over a new leaf so there's very few characters that you can dislike at the end of the show. Finally, of course, the show wrapped up decently ler. The downside of this drama is I never cried once! Omo. For a drama fan, surely there's at least one or a few tear-jerker moments for every drama wan lor but strangely, not this one..(or maybe I've just grown up. ahem hems.) Kaka. Plus, I think the pace of the show is almost the same throughout also so it doesn't give you that Oomph factor. Overall, not bad la but it could have been better!:P Wait, I just did a long drama review eh?!
Heading to Sarawak tommorow. Zoomm!
Anyways, you. I actually wish I don't have to meet another person like you. But really, when I think of all the silent and not-so-silent fights that we had, I cannot help but smile cheekily at our friendship. Hehee. Hahaha. Because when I think of it, those fights were so often, sometimes childish and goofy even, that it became the norm and that's the sort of impression that's been imprinted on my mind about our friendship. So when I received ur text, just like the one before, I cannot help but smile widely at the warmthness. Thanks kawanku. Despite that tingle of sadness that comes along, subsides and once in a while, triggers again, I know that I'm okay. Because little by little, it goes away. Because I know that all this while, I've been okay.=)

Carefree
Hey everyone. I thought of blogging since its the holidays and exams are over. Woots!
Right after my final day of exams, a few of my friends and I headed to Parade. We had sushi for lunch, walked around a little and spent the rest of our hangout at Starbucks. By the time it was 5, we all left. Although we didn't do much, it was still pretty fun cos its been long since I last lepak-ed with them. :) I also had my hair cut at a proper salon (before this, I used to cut my hair on my own. Save $$ and train on my hair cutting skills ma. heheh) but it turns out the salon cut my fringe like a coconut only so I should have just cut on my own. Haisheh. Called a man to get my piano tuned too and on one of the evenings, kai kai with parents at Aeon since we were given firsthand notice on cut of electricity supply for a few hours. Had our dinner at Sakae Sushi since we couldn't eat at home for the day. Felt so happy having such a satifying meal.:)
The rest of it, I spent my time stuck at home surfing the net, listening to songs and watching movies streamed online. I never came across the movies that I've watched so far except one of them I think, the nanny one, but all of the shows were not bad to past time. Some of which I watched were Chalet Girl, The Nanny Diaries, Love Me, 16-Love and The Cure. Watched Thor 2 with my dad too. Didn't expect Thor 2 to be quite nice. It feels relaxing to be able to do all of these things after such a long long time. =)
I havent't got myself to watching any dramas yet cos I don't know what to watch. What more, my house's internet connection can be really 'tortoise-ish' at times. I'm planning on getting something to read as well. Maybe buy a few books that I can bring along and read during my trip in Sarawak. In the meantime, I gotta spend sometime searching on some important stuffs too and just enjoy life. hehehs. :)
I'll be back with another post soon. Cheerios! =D

Right now. I'm so scared where this road will take me.
I need to find my way and pull myself through. I really must believe in doing my best.:)
