When you wake up to find that half-boiled eggs are served for breakfast on the table. What a delight!
Just a short entry before i continue studying. Three more papers to go and when time's ticking, you realize how precious every hour counts. Yes, you count by the hours and in fact, even by the minutes. Not so much of the days anymore. You plan and if it fails, you make a new plan.
My brothers and relatives were back in Ipoh for the weekend. That's the procrastination period. When you're trying to study at one corner and your second bro is playing 'Assassin Creed' at an adjacent table to yours. You just can't help but to admire awhile at the beautiful graphics, ask how the game works and even bob your head a little to the rhythm of the upbeat music that's playing as the background of the game. You feel like you're in Italy with those pieces. Hehe.
Its been really long since I last left a post here so here you go. Haha
That's it.
Til another time, take care blog. Take care people! :)

Rantss
The new semester began and its crazy how time flies. This Monday is Week 5 of the semester already. Its really true when someone says Chinese New Year will pass by before you know it. One minute, everyone's rushing back to their hometowns to gather for this festive occasion, and the next moment, everyone's rushing back for work and studies.
This CNY was fully spent with family and relatives. First day at my uncle's, 2nd day travelling to Penang for 3D and 2N vacation as well and the final 1 to 2 days at Ipoh wif fams. Didn't get to meet up with friends this time. Feeling guilty. I could have made it for the night part however, was quite exhausted to go out. :/ Hopefully, next round yah guys. :)
A bit reluctant to go back Kampar because the next few weeks will be the busiest. Cramming facts for midterms and meeting assignment datelines. Ohnoo. However, trying to stay motivated to consistently keep up with the pace. Year 2 loo.
Anyways, a recap on my past few weeks la.
Week 1
I headed back to Kampar a day before classes began. Tidied up my room like an aunty for almost 2-3 hours. It felt good once the room had more room and was more liveable?? Haha. I was prepared for my only class and first lecture the following day. At the same time, I was hoping to drop a particular subject and bid for another one.
So when the next day came and the registration system re-opened sharp at 9a.m., I was one of the few gan cheong students trying to log into the course registration system to change my subject asap. Tried several times to login and in my head I was thinking, 'Oh, I don't think there'll be space anymore'. To my luck, there was one space left. Fortunately, its also the particular slot I wanted. Woohoo! It means someone probably dropped that subject thus, leaving an opening slot. Immediately, I replaced my alternative with the initial choice. In my heart, I was thanking the student who dropped it. Because of him/her, I could get it. Thankiu. :) Huhuu. Therefore, I have no classes on Monday. I can drive into uni this round too because I got a car sticker this sem. After 2 consecutive sems of walking, I can save the trouble of getting my shoes soak in water after a heavy downpour. Walking however is not really a problem for me anymore, I have adapted to it! :D
I was unsure whether to bring forward a final semester elective as well, International Trade. Somehow, my intuition tells me to take it now so I'll be more relax in future. Initially, some reasons made it seem like taking this subject would be a drawback and had me re-considering. Finally? I'm still proceeding with this elective on my own. Gogogo! :)
On the same Monday, while waiting for the registration system to open, suddenly felt my right eye was itchy and a bit sticky with fluid too. I caught an eye infection for the next 2 weeks. Initially, I didn't want to see a doctor but when it started becoming painful, I consulted a doctor to get some medication. During that time, people in uni who bumped into me would asked me why, what happened to your eye? I told them 'I became a vampire'. Hehee.
There was this thingy I applied for to go for a UN Leadership symposium as well. Actually, I was just trying my luck and play play. After some things happened, the Sg Long officer personally called me to attend an interview. It happened to be during class hours and my first Taxation lecture. On my personal choice, I didn't want to skip it because I never skipped classes for these kinda reasons. Moreover, considering the costly travelling expenses even with a partial scholarship, I didn't go for it. When I think of the officer, I felt regretful because she was such a pleasant, nice and helpful lady. I knew she took the trouble to go the extra mile when she didn't had to. Aiseh. On my part, I shouldn't make the mistake again of taking bold indecisive moves.
After that, we had a first WAY meeting for the sem. Besides our main agenda, we had an exchanged gifts session among the committees. All of us were asked to prepare a gift for our secret angel. It was exciting to see many presents laid out in the center of the living room. It felt like Christmas with an invisible Christmas tree. Hehees. Besides, who doesn't love presents aite? I DO. HAHA :) Anyway, it was an entertaining session as some committees left out the name labels for their secret angels, there were overlapping receivers and stuffs like that. Everyone was shouting in excitement when a guy received the largest gift among us all. We anticipated much as we remove the present wrappers and guess what, it definitely lifted up to our expectations. It was a label wording 'Mr. Right' on a rectangular, fluffy pillow! Wkaka.
My gift was a pretty notebook. Haven't used it cos reluctant and so its kept in my book rack for now. On another day, I received a CNY greeting card too which was printed in pin yin and the sender wrote me a pretty humorous and thoughtful note. It was a really short one saying that he/she knows I don't know Chinese so he/she suggested to get someone to help translate for me the text. Hahaha.
During the weekends, I didn't go back home as I signed up for a course. Actually, my dad's birthday fall during that weekends and 2 days later, my 2nd bro's. I only realized the date later after registration and it was too late to get refunded. Surely, I felt sorry for missing their celebrations and was feeling regretful for joining.
Anyway, it was a UBS Accounting Course. It was a 2 days intensive course which consisted of a computer, handbook and lots of typing. We sat in front of the computer for hours and when lunch break came, I never felt so glad. Lunch on both days were appetizing because it was Indian cooking mixed-dishes style. Chap fan in pedas version. Yumyums! :) After 2 days of scenario questions attempts, we had an online practical exam which lasted for 2 and a half hours. When the workshop was over, Kitkat and me was so happy and relieved. We decided to go for a movie for a break. Haha.
Don't get me wrong, the workshop was quite practical. Yet, it was..exhausting to sit there for long hours doing typing jobs. In short, can we pick up the software on our own? Definitely, if you have the handbook and software. So is the course worth it? Yes, for first-timers. Its pretty useful to attend one workshop to get a hang of it. Once we have the fundamentals, its easier to learn any other software kut. Besides, we learn how to classify the accounts based on systematic coding and that's the best takeaway for me in my opinion. Plus, if I were to learn it on my own, surely it would have taken more than 2 days one. Hahaha. Overall, its a useful course as a basic guide la.
Week 2
Everything was mostly normal except...
My car needed maintenance again. It needed a change of car battery and after everything was settled, it made me missed my international trade tutorial. My coursemates would have thought I'm such a lazy girll but got solid reason okehh. Haha.
On Thursday, I went to Teluk Intan to find sponsorship for the WAY event. Its not the first time I've felt it but especially after that day, I realized being multi-lingual is an added advantage. Not everyone speaks the same language which is why being versatile makes it beneficial. Somehow, speaking in someone else's mother tongue or sharing a same background helps to connect people more easily. We dealt with the community in Malay, English, Mandarin and Cantonese. The problem was interacting in Hokkien and Teo Chew, neither of us could speak these well enough. Hehe.
On Saturday, the few of us attended a pre-CNY celebration held in the campus. All the performances were in Mandarin. My friend jio me only otherwise I wouldn't its unlikely I would have gone for sure. Haha. The beatboxing was probably my favourites. A bunch of students acted an adaptation of the famous Journey to The West show too and it was quite entertaining. Haha. At night, we surprised Kitkat too for her birthday and the next day, had a WAY bonding trip. Lazy to blog the details liao. We went for breakie then to Lost World of Tambun and dinner. The exciting moment when I felt we came together as a group was at the large open pool. There was music jamming by a DJ at the front and we were all just grooving to the beat, doing silly poses in the pool and waving our hands in the air. More and more of the crowd joined in after us. Wkaka. It really felt like a good bonding experience during that moment. :) The entrance fee to Tambun is pricey though, RM45 leh.
Week 3
Had one lousy day and all became fine la. :)
Anyway, these past 3 weeks are like car maintenance week. I got my 4 tyres changed on 2 different ocassions and one more time to the workshop for a normal car service. Got a bit paranoid with my car also dee. After it all, I had more experiences dealing with mechanics and felt grateful to those who were able to provide me with sound assurance for my car. Of course, the maintenance work too.
A day before we went back for our CNY break, a bunch of us had a spontaneous evening reunion too. We had a Chinese dishes dinner. We planned to watch Ola Bola after that. Unfortunately, all the seats were sold out except for the first two rows, so Suet Leng suggested to go to a nearby carnival instead.
Waaaa. It was enjoyable. Felt like an excited kid while playing the bumper rides. It was so much fun that we sat on it for 4 times! Hahaha. Another ferris-wheel kind of ride was quite scary because it make a creaking noise that me and Vern was shouting when we were at the top of the ride. No joke. Then we could see the bystanders on the ground there also smiling/giggling in our direction. Why do even pay for rides to scare ourselves?? Aisehh. The atmosphere there was surprisingly quite good for a small town. There were several game booths with pretty attractive prizes to grab. All of us had something to bring home in the end. I think all of us really enjoyed ourselves. Save Ola Bola for next time.
I think it is a long long post. Just spilling here in case I forget in future. If u read it til here, I salute you liao. Haha.
Last but not least, Happy Monkey Chinese New Year! :D

Malacca n Go Go
Haloooo. Its seldom that I blog so often and since there's a few days left before my official holidays come to an end, better take the opportunity aite?? Hehe
First of all, its been a long time since I chatted with Alex and amboii, she's still the same. Annoying as ever. Hahahaa. Still, nice la. :) Despite our short conversation on Whatsapp (1 hour short ryte?), it was good to hear from her. Was half done with breakfast too and left it aside for an hour before resuming eating. My bowl of porridge. Ngom ngom.
Just last Thursday, my coursemates and I took a trip down to Malacca. We stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. The 5 of us and at one point, the 6 including my coursemate's sister. We have been talking about this trip since awhile back and its finally materialized. Wuhoo!
On our first day, we took the ETS to Tampin. It was a 4 hours journey right from ipoh. Thankfully, we took the train. If it were the bus..My butt would have ache. Keke. The last hour, we were pretty pumped up to start our day. The reason we took our train to Tampin and not Malacca was because one of our friends' lives in Alor Gajah which means the nearest station was Tampin. She's our host. Kitkat!! Haha. Our tour guide, awesome driver and Malacca lang. Oh, before that, she even prepared an itinerary for us too. Hehees.
As soon as we reached Tampin, Kitkat fetched us to her house where we left our belongings before we she drove us to a nearby beach. It was suppose to be pretty in the pictures. I think its one of those indah khabar daripada rupa kind of places. Keke. Then, we had coconut shake at Klebang. Supposed to be famous, it was ok la. Not as tasty as Jonker's. Hehe. We went shopping at Pahlawan next. I know, why we purposely head to shopping malls on the first day of Malacca right?? We were that free. After that, we help ourselves with Satay Celup for dinner and we weren't stuffed enough lor so we went looking for Longkang Siham. Our second round. Yes! Haha. A big misinterpretation over here, we thought the siham species was from the drain u see. It isn't. Its named as such because the place is located as it is called, in a back alley by the drains. As Malaysian as it sounds, it was clean though and the seafood there is fresh. What more, cheap! Mmms. A small plate of Lala costs RM2 only. So were the cockles and snails. They have chut chut, sotong, prawns etc somemore. I recommend this place! :D
We then took the River Cruise. RM10.60. Neh, 60sen untuk GST la. Aiseh. It was a pretty simple ride, a 40-minute trip all in all down and up the river. Actually, the radio was describing about the Sejarah on the go. Neh, we didn't listen! :P We were more attracted to Malacca's night view, and many wall murals could be seen. It was pretty late ady when we finally checked-in at our accommodation. It was a guest house. It was our First Night there. Feeling it right?? Hahha. Just kiddings yo. The Jiong Guesthouse. Honestly speaking, I was afraid to stay there. After checking through Agoda (the famous accommodation booking website) and reading the recent comments of the accommodation condition, I had some reservations. Yet because Kitkat chose the place, I went along with it. Plus, it was considerably the cheapest we could get for a night's stay. RM20 per person, so actually I was mentally prepared ady. Prepare first ma, ryte? The place was actually fine. Since maybe we were the only few guests around, there was no problem with the bathroom sharing part. They had public toilets unattached to our respective rooms. The not soundproof walls were not a problem either, something mentioned in Agoda. Eventually, it turned out to be a pretty comfortable stay. The 5 of us camped out in one room. Hehees. At night, we went for some late night drinks as well before we zoned out for the day.
The next morning, we walked around Jonker Street and explored the shops la. Suet Leng and Ann Gie did most of the shopping while Lee Mee, Kitkat and I were mostly tagging along. For us, we just feast the eyes only you know. :) For lunch, we tried different flavours of laksa there and its alright, the best is still probably the black gooeey sauce one, har guo. We continued to walk and walk. Kinda exhausted already and we pit-stop at Na-deejay. Ate some strange layered cake. Eees. Not that nice. It was around 3pm that time and while waiting for Jonker Street to open in the evening, we had a sudden idea to catch a movie. There weren't that many shows available at the cinemas so we chose the most ideal one - a horror show. HAHA. It was our first scary show together. We watched The Forest. As I sat in between Kitkat and Lee Mee, feeling everyone's gan cheongness, mine came off as laughter. Hahah. When Lee Mee asked me why i was laughing? I laughed even more. Hahaha. Lee Mee was hiding under her jacket most of the times and Kitkat was like me, scared but tahan-ing it. Constantly shifting to the left and right in our seats. Surprisingly, its the first H movie that had a rather logical plot to it and overall, not bad eh. By the time we made it to Jonker, it was about to rain and we were exhausted, so we just took a walk down the street while the traders were still busy setting up their stalls. Walking back to the car, I striked Toto lo. At the age of 21, it was my first big splat of bird poop which came from above and settled on my arm. I can tell you, its warm. No joke. Their poop. Haha.
After dinner, Kitkat drove us back to Alor Gajah where she stayed. We spent our next two nights here. Later on, we took a shall I say, half-dip?? at the hotspring near Alor Gajah. It was steaming at first and in the end, we could go underwater till the thigh level only.
On our third day, Kitkat's parents took us for pan mee for breakfast. Yums! Delicious. :) After that, we made way to A' famosa and spent almost our entire day there. The ice-cream ride was scary for the first time. Imagining it still makes me feel the butterflies in my tummy. At that one point, the ice-cream cone part, it really felt like a roller coaster ride. We were all laughing out of fear and holding tightly to the float grip. The Wahaha ride was fun too. Its crazy how so many queue up to be washed away by the sudden gush of water and end up in a float pile-up. Hahaha. :)
By the evening, we took a stroll at A'famosa shopping mall and Machap Walk. The walk was a small pasar malam. Smaller than Ipoh's pasar malam one. The most noticeable thing over there is probably that it sells a variety of buns. Pau, buns, burger and more buns. We decided to take away our food back to Kitkat's home where we munch happily. In the night, we usually chat before heading to bed. Girl's favourite ma horr? Pillow talk. Hahha. Thanks to Suet Leng, the girl who never lets us sleep. Haha. Abit polluted by her fair share of new Chinese words too.
On our way to the train station on the last day, Ann Gie was telling me that she hopes to have an overseas trip together in future, after graduation. *fingers crossed* Hopefully. Overall, it was a fun and memorable trip with them. Will keep them in my heart. :) Going on trips with friends is great because I get to do things together as a bunch and actually spend within the given budget (some savings would be good), and to be less fussy by taking into consideration not just ours but everyone else's preferences!
Now, back to rambling. My recent fad was Sassy, Go Go! Really like the Korean drama, such an underrated drama in my opinion. With a total of 12 episodes altogether which is oppose to the usual 16, its still being nicely wrapped up. Still having the Post-Drama Syndrome. Unable to find another good drama to watch after this one. Haih. Its nicee. With an emphasis on friendship and challenges in high school, one of the best high school dramas ever lo!! Haha. :) Its one realistic high school show at least. Dwelling on the basic concerns of students and teachers like school clubs and societies, exam grades, office politics, friendships, household issues etc. What I liked most of the drama is its overall cheerfulness that was mostly maintained throughout the series. Even the antagonist role was well played. As mean as she was, one could sympathize with her at the end. Besides, the author also look into some other more serious issues as well. Aahs. Now can't seem to find a nice series that measures up (always have this feeling after a good drama. Aiseh) and still looking for a good one. Considering a time travel drama now but aahs, will miss this one. :)
Still have a couple more of days to settle some things and maybe more shopping with mummy. Today shopped with her at Mr. DIY for 2 hours plus dee. We can shop that long at DIY leh. A new semester ahead again. Ohnoo. Daunting? Yes or No? Dunno. Just bet it'll be hectic. Be ready~

01
I decided to type away since I have two ulcers and a dry throat, all the reasons to stay quiet. Hehe.
Also, I had the chance to meet up with some of my close buddies. It was nice to catch up wif u all. :)
That's all la.
Happy New Year again!!
First of all, Happy New Year guys! :)
This year has been filled with moments, good and bad; happy and sad, all year round. Its been a good year and hoping for a better one in 2016! =) *quoting star wars. May the force be with you!* Hehe. Anticipating a monkey time of a yearr. (its the monkey zodiac ryte?? :D)
It has been quite a crazy journey. At the beginning of the year, I struggled with my emotions. Dunno hormones unstable or what. Ahah. It was just..all over the place and my reservations has always put a full stop in telling anyone about it, my feelings.
Thankfully, coming across good reads and quotes does help to set a clear mindset or at least, some good perspectives. Its up to us to choose happiness or otherwise. After all, we are the directors of our own feelings so the most important person to determine our own happiness is actually our self. hehe :)
Thankfully as well, the following semester was a better one. More company, more experiences, more learning. It was great semester to begin with and I was happy. Then there was this semester, it was more like smooth sailing and mm mm, like that la. Haha.
Then here throughout, my grades keep falling. It still feels bad. Everytime I got a bad grade, I still feel that same sinking feeling. That's why my resolution is to do well before I intern.
There's more that I wanna share but ohh. Oh so lazy to type liao. Nyek nyek. When I really have the mood la. Perhaps after I graduate?? hahaha. :P :D

Anyways, spent my Christmas in Genting, KL and Tanjung Sepat. We had steamboat on the eve and it was a blessing to be with my family, aunty and uncle. Mmmhss :))

Late Admissions. Hehee
I heard something really cute earlier. Wakakaa. Mom's been asked to be the hostess for my cousin's wedding reception and guess who's helping her out?? D.A.D. Voluntarily! Haha. Omo. According to dad, mom has had a flair for emcee-ing since her younger days and since she wanted to turn the invitation down this time because of her less fluent Cantonese and Mandarin, I think dad's decided to help. Hahahehe. Mom's talent still shows during our recent family gathering, celebrating the 100 days of my niece's birthday. :D
Anyways, it has been long since I updated my bloggie. How are you guys doing? I've been a little caught up with this and that. Just small little things that add up to a day's worth of time. How about you all? (if anyone still reads my blog. kekee)
Since I've missed out writing a post about last sem's happenings, I'll just touch on the bits that account for the memorable times of my last sem yehh.
For the start, CSS Eco-Friendly Campaign was my first long term event in uni. I have to say it'll be close to my heart for two reasons. Firstly, it was my first event that was quite a good experience (not the best ler. hehe. but good) and secondly, because it was this event that led me to join more events. The first 5 weeks of my previous sem was kept busy with booth duties, promoting our learning trip and attending meetings. As a secretary, my partner and I was just easy and carefree. Haha. Besides writing minutes and reports, the most tedious task was probably planning the booth duty every week. Someone should come up with an app/software to arrange time slots easily for things like these. It'll be so useful for so many occasions. Omie. My fave moment was probably booth dutying as I got to know a little of everyone in the committee and also the night we spent making customized handmade souvenirs for the trip participants and committees til 4am. It reminded me so much of camps and Girl Guides. Idk why. Note that our trip was at 7am the next day. Kaka.
Then there was this English workshop which we signed up for and another was for Energy Saving Campaign station games, part of CSS too, which a few of us volunteered to be helpers. For the latter, I didn't know what I was up for until I found out that we had to reach uni by 5.30am for duty, a day before the event. We volunteered last minute you see and the event was on a Saturday morning. Saturday morning and arriving to uni at 5.30am. *sweats* Even during the morning itself, I honestly dreaded the fact and feel a slight pang of regret for joining. It turns out, my feelings were wrong. It was the best event I've joined and I don't even know why. Haha. We signed up for the English workshop without any expectations too. There was tongue twisters challenge, group debates and testing vocabulary power. Both events turned out to be surprisingly fun!! =D It may be true that serendipity is one of the best things ever. Sometimes, you don't know what you're looking for so you take a step further and all a sudden, you stumble upon gratification and bliss. Whether in life or uni life.
The previous sem was a great learning experience too. I appreciate Sun Zi classes eventhough its a MPU subject. For this reason also, its nice la. Cos just a pass and fail subject so I don't feel a burden at all when attending lectures. Keke. In fact, so many concepts are relatable to life and business, its pretty interesting to listen. Business Ethics debate was a good experience as well and I really appreciate our tutor and lecturer, Dr Darren, for sharing his lessons, both inside the syllabus and outside the context of textbooks.
Exams. I did study a little harder (smarter as well I hope) and earlier last sem so it turns out disappointing when I've gotten my results. The subject I studied least turns out to have a better grading than those which I put in much effort for. Weird weird me.
Because I feel like I've actually learnt, Year 2 Sem 1 was definitely one of the most memorable sem yet. =)
Now, I'm currently done with all my coursework so I'm left with 3 weeks of studies before finals approach again. Short sem does past fast. Worhh. Its time to start looking for sponsors too for a charity event. Together with my team, hoping it'll be a good learning experience as well. :) Based on the list of potential sponsors, two of us are suppose to approach the larger companies whereas the other two will look around driving distance areas and F&B companies. Sadly hah, half of the companies are companies which I haven't heard of. GG. Cos they are shoe/bag companies I think. Gonna have to look them up on the net. On the positive side, maybe it'll help me expand my apparel brand knowledge. *sweats* Haha
Some pictures to do the talking and Cheerios! =)
A section of Eco-Friendly exhibition and learning trip promotion.
Eco-friendly decoration using recycled materials.
Marine Market in the middle of Penang Sea. We took a speed boat there and fed the fishes there. It was one of the places we went during the trip. Keke.
Another event worth cherishing. RCM family. Try spotting me if u can! :)
Some of us at the registration counters for RCM Orientation Day. :)
Have a good day!

Vacation
Finally some alone time to write up a short post. Hehe.
I'm over-seas. Yeah!! :P :) Do you think so?? I'm now with my fams and relatives in Sarawak so well, in a way, we're Over-the-seas. Pun intended. Haha, just kiddins bout overseas. We started our trip with a 'bang bang'! Our first night was well-spent at a beach resort called Pandan Gold Coast located in Lundu. Its a pretty far drive off the main city and the place was pretty serene. A laid-back resort great for a family weekend getaway. Since there was no food shops within convenient driving distance, we planned our own dinner instead. We resorted to an alternative and indeed the best one, our own Barbeque Grill. Yum yums! Hehees. Thanks to the resort, they provided us with the necessary outdoor kitchen area and some bbq equipments too. Yays! =) We makan and makan starting from 7pm til midnight 1 a.m. :D
It does feel strangely nice when I'm here, I do things that I normally don't do or get to do when I'm back in Ipoh, like helping out in the kitchen to prepare for a big family bbq dinner. I offered to clean up the fishes because it seemed fun (so it was my first time washing fishes. Wkaka.) A few of us cousins also accompanied my two uncles on their night fishing trip. It was a short trip out because we came back empty-handed, or is it the other way around?? Haha. What more, babysitting my cousins and eating durians. Hehe. Aside from those, when we're here, its the usual early mornings, late nights and going around town. Food is never, never, out of the list. In fact, it is always on the main itinerary. Thanks to dad la and uncle la always suggesting to eat and signalling they're hungry. 'Ok la. Chiak song ah' which means munching or let's eat for fun or yumcha. That's how we've been spending the couple of days here. :)
We've been here since last Saturday and we're leaving for home soon, Sunday.
I've typed more but decided to postpone the rest of the contents for later cos I am lazy ady so continue typing next round. Haha. Sayonaraa~ :)

5 minute post
A phone call from an ex-classmate is enough to evoke the memories. Memories that are buried deep down and preferably forgotten. However, all is well all is well!! :)
I have lots to blog about.
Its week 14, the last week of classes. Followed by 3 weeks of finals.
Honestly, it has been a great great semester. I wish to blog more about it but now doesn't feel like the right time. In the upcoming post I hope!! hehees. :D
For now, I just have the inspiration to strive for finals, all a sudden. Come on, work harder and smarter. Yehh! :))
Goodnight~
