Petty details

Never knew that a single little detail that's left out from the big picture can actually bring such a stark contrast to the meaning of the whole situation.  Evidently, it leaves behind no questionable doubt and everything becomes crystal-clear.

My eye infection supposingly cured dee but kena again.T.T Tommorow's AGM Night, everyone seems pretty excited! But I still don't feel a thing yet.huhu.:S Anyways, raya break is here! Selamat Hari Raya peeps! sings *balik kampung!!!* :D This holidays will definitely be a jam-packed one, assignments, homework, revision, heading back to school on certain days, a whole lot of catching up with my kawan-kawan, etc. Mwehs! Must realli realli treasure the precious hols.huhuhah.:)

As usual, school has had its ups and downs. Today, stayed back in school to play badminton with Sokleng again. :) Real semangat since last week tadak meeting, plus after watching LCW and Lin Dan's great feat on the court during the Olympics Finals and since its gonna be quite sometime before we get to play again due to the hols break! Hehe. It was fun and a great workout.hees. :D

Okla, lazy to type more although I still feel like continuing to blog. Malas. Cheerios! :)

MIA to BIA (back in action)!

Been MIA for awhile now. Sorry bloggie! The past 3 weeks flew by in a daze. One of the weeks was occupied with preparations for LTC. I missed school for a day too due to my car’s ignition which couldn’t start but coincidentally, LTC was on that day as well so I had to go school as soon as the locksmith repaired the ignition part. By that time, school was over dee! So it felt pretty strange to appear in school just right after school was over. In other words, people would think I ponteng. :S But aahs, never mind what people think!:)

Recalling back, Prefects' LTC Camp marks the start of the endless flow of activities after that and everything after that was hectic.  This year's LTC was a very different one compared to the previous LTC's in MGS. It was quite fun at times but LTC definitely zapped the life out of me by the end of the camp. The most significant memories were the group station games which really bonded us together, the on-the-spot punishments and the purplish-black bruises I had on my thighs due to the stomping and slapping of thighs for team cheer. All-Blacks, way to go! Hehe. It was quite a memorable camp also cos we were awarded the overall Best LTC Group. Yipeedoo!!:D What I learnt most from this camp is to appreciate water, really. :D

Other than that, I stayed at my aunt’s place for about a week while parents were bercuti-cuti-ing at Sarawak. I thought it would be a bit awkward staying at other people's place but they made me feel very at home. Thankiuuu aunty and uncle. My aunt was so nice. She specially blended apple juice for me everyday after school cos she she remembered that my mom told her I like apple juice before. hees. :D I get to eat supper everyday at my aunt’s place too cos they just can’t live without supper! That’s why my aunt claims she’s fat. haha. And they have Astro there so I did 'intip' a lil’ of KBS dramas ler although not that much. I was suppose to prepare for the upcoming monthly tests at my aunt’s place but ended up enjoying myself instead. huhu. My aunt even called me out from my room just to accompany her watch some live HK concert. HAHA. During the weekends, went out to Aeon to watch The Dark Knight Rises with Ann and Sokleng too. The movie was quite nice ehhh. Batman’s vehicles are just so coolio!! If only they were for sale, I’ll buy them.:)

Then we had prefects EXCO interview in school. Personally, I don't know if I did well or okay for the interview but I kinda regret for not voicing out what I really wanted to say but never minddd, its over already.Wheees!:D I had to duty for an event called ACS/MGS Alumni Night as well. It was a quite an experience altogether. Me and Kiirtaara had an awesome surprise too! We received a free Ipod Nano from a very kind man as a token of appreciation because one of our duties was to help him out with the distribution of tickets to 60 of his friends. Thank you, Mister!=) I’ve always wanted an Ipod and he just fulfilled one of my wishlist items. Heees. Felt really happy and I haven't uploaded any songs into the ipod yet. For prefects, I’ve been part of the the committee in preparing the prefs newsletter too. It was my first time handling the secretary task and I was just pure blur case at first that the editor had to keep reminding me to jot down minutes. But it was a good thing too, come to think of it. I learnt to jot down important meeting minutes and prepare reports. Also, I've got a new nickname recently. Thanks to Kiirtaara.ish! Bond! :D

On the contrary, monthly tests weren’t all that good mostly because I ended up in slumberland instead of preparing for the tests. I feel bad and sorry that I’ll be letting down my teachers. Mianhae. But I promise to do better the next time. Also, something happened the other day. I think all fault goes to me but I’m just really thankful to the bus driver whom I never saw in person. Very thankful and sorry at the same time. Thankiu mr bus driver. :) Now I've got conjunctivitis for almost a week dee too. Faster cure, right eye!:O

Next up, Prefs AGM Night. The dressing part is yet another predicament of mine once again.Haihsss. I thought I won’t have to wear dress for some time since Grad Night. At least not so soon. T.T. Sad caseee. Also, bro is back from China and last weekends, both brothers were back. Tai ko and 2nd tai gor. We had McD sundae after my alumni night duty which I went home around 11plus.:) Now, I've got to start working on my Maths T assignment. Two weeks to complete the assignment. One week has just passed. That means one week left. Omiesss. Just pray I understand what I'm doing on vectors so that I can answer the questions posted during the Viva session (Q&A session).

Okies then, this has been quite a post. Will be back blogging during Raya thenn!! Can't wait to meet everyone during Raya. C yah peeps! :D

Bumblebee

Its going to be busy busy busy. LTC this coming weekends so we'll be busy preparing with ini dan itu di sini dan sana this whole school week. Huhu. The following weekends, I'll be nomad-ing at my aunt's place. Then comes doomsday, monthly tests the following school week. :S Going to have superhero super hectic days. Aahs. Quoting Hunger Games ~May the odds be in my favour! :)

That's all. Will be back soon! :D

Verbal thoughts

To start things off, school this week has its ups and downs. Funny moments, conflicting moments and so on. Firstly, we're now all considered probationary prefects so we've got our prefects ties and probationary tags as well. As usual, there's the 'guardian and angel' system whereby my mentor is no other than *ahems* Tan Yi Ying.Haha.:) For the past week, we've been taking strolls around the school every morning while being briefed of our duties. It wasn't too bad. We're assigned with temporary probational duties for these few days back. Signature hunt also kickstarted on Tuesday. I wanted to just put aside the signature hunt thing but because of the few things that the prefectorial board commitees mentioned today, I'll give it a real shot.

The upper six'es were having MUET speaking test next to our class but we had a hard time speaking in hushed tones so our class ended up being 'ditegur' a few times but I guess nothing works. We were quieter for awhile and noisier than ever once again. Haha. Classes were on as usual but some of the lessons had really hilarious moments. Like for instance, the school's recess bell is at 10.10am everyday but yesterday, the school bell rang earlier than usual at 9.50am and we were in the middle of our Maths lesson. As soon as it rang, everyone stood up to wish the teacher off and when the teacher asked us if it was really recess time already, we said Yes. She almost convincingly believed us when we said so until a few people started chuckling and more people started breaking into fits of laughter. Tadaaa, discovered! Caught red-handed and prank failed! So Maths lesson went on and we had double homework because the teacher managed to finish two sub-units for the day. Geees.

Had badminton again this week. It was quite fun again. Randomly played with people. Played doubles at first although we don't actually know how to separate the middle line as to who hits back the ball if it falls right at the centre of the court. Later on, played individually but cos there were odd number of people, I ended up sitting with one of my friends and we just chatted. Halfway chatting about her friendship dilemma, she started tearing. She asked me to tell some jokes but at that moment, I was completely blank. Sorryy.:S Although I tried my best to console her, I felt a bit helpless because it didn't really seem to work. I couldn't think of a better way to comfort her and make her feel at ease at that moment.Mianhae kawan. But I'll come up with a solution in time!:)

Then we also had our first bio practical assessment. It was chaotic and well, downright opposite of what an assessment should be like. I think the best place to spot our semangat tolong-menolong and Sharing Is Caring motto is no other than during those 3 periods of biology really. HAHA. On a random note, I can't stop smiling when I think of the special edition version of our 'We Got Married' couple in class. Hahahahh! :)

Tell me, if only Laziness was a disease and there's a remedy to it, dilligence!! I think I'll have a problem of being in charge with the 'lock-and-key' class thing from next week onwards unless I start off early from home. Mwehs. Lastly, I hope that in time, we all aren't just mere acquaintances in class but actually friends that we can count on.

Quote for the day : Courage is not the absence of fear but rather, taking an action in the face of fear.=)

KONK-ed I went

Just felt like posting a short mundane entry here for no reason.ehehe. Had a really long sleep last night (by accident)! Thanks to mom who switched off the lights when I was just suppose to be "resting" awhile and dad who on the air-conditioner to add to the comfortness to my room and KONK I went all the way till this morning. Slept for 12 hours straight or moree. Hahahaa. Woke up and had a hearty porridge meal for lunch. Yums!=) Then, mom boiled me this soup which was suppose to give me energy and rinse my blood it seems. Feeling the same only though. Haha. Plus, mom is watching a drama "next door" and I'm in  my room doing maths listening to the drama's endless dramatic songs that goes along with the show. Eeeesss. Make me wanna dramaaaaaaaaaaaa too. The show's called Rooftop Prince btw!

Omieeee. Soooo cool! Earphone wristbands! :)
Those who jog often would find this very convenient.omies.

Saw it on Pinterest. Pinterest is just awesomeee!! :DD

Read or EXIT! HAHA

WONKS! I've been waiting all week long to come online, what more blog. Because it'll be such a lenthy post, I decided to split it into two parts. Don't get blind! :D

SCHOOL

Last Friday was ACS Sports Day. It felt more like a carnival to me cos for one, everyone seems to be wearing all sorts of tees. Starwalk, tees of their own, their former school tees, etc etc. It was messy and like a rojak. It was as if several events were being held at the same time so it was more like a rojak carnival. It really lacked the fire and powah it should have! Then there seems to be no sporting spirit throughout the event. Didn't hear a single cheer at all except for the 100m girls' event whereby a girl shouted in support of her team member's victory. Plus, a majority of students left the school grounds in the midst of sports day and the school was practically empty even before sports day was officially over.=]
Soo anyway, just finished MUET pre-test just a few days back. For speaking, I only got a Band 4 out of 6 Bands which is just at the border you can say. No one got a band 5 so far but there are close to it. According to teacher, I'm not cohesive enough so gotta work on that! hehe. Shall improve my english speaking skills in future! :) For the reading section, we had to answer 45 questions. It reminded me of sitting for the New South Wales English competition last year cos its pretty much similar but comparatively easier. Not bad.=) Next Monday, we are suppose to shout out loud from two opposite ends of the school field for speaking skills to amplify our voice volume.Lol. (that's what the teacher said she intends to do. Don't know its for real or a joke though.)
Oh yeah, the kokurikulum system in ACS is different from MGS. To be part of the commitee of a society is not based on majority/popularity votes. Instead, its up to you to choose the post you wish to hold and attend an interview process. So the first step is of course whether you wish to seek for a post or not. I'm not really used to it because it feels a bit strange to choose the post you want. Then came my next thought, is it okay if he/she aims for a high post? Maybe I'm just conservative in this sense. Otherwise, I think selection of candidates based on interview may be better than a majority voting basis since assessment can be done.:)
Talking about kokurikulum, had my first badminton meeting several days back on Wednesday. Weeess! Well, simply said, I never exercised for AGES. I repeat. AGESSS. Not weeks or months but maybe about a year or so. I can't vividly remember the last time I exercised but if I'm not mistaken, it was during the last PJ lesson in Form 5 last year. So imagined, a year without any workout and then suddenly I started stretching those flabby muscles. I didn't do any warm up at the start and imeediately got into action for around 2 hours with rest intervals in between of course. But oh gosh, ran around the court and sweat like mad. The badminton hall was steaming hot like sauna cos there weren't fans ( or u can say there were lots of fans, but they weren't switched on cos the wind will just affect the game). I see everyone there sweating like mad, even the ones just sitting on the side bench was bathing in sweat. But it was fun being able to whack the shuttlecock afew times! *pariah english* and sweat profusely after a long time. It felt great! :)
Mann, by the time I reach home, I was aching all over till when I wanted to write, I couldn't grip the pen and write. My hand was shaking. That was how energyless I became. Luckily I didn't need to write much that day. Phew.
Probation duty for prefects starts next week.Let's just hope the prefectorial board doesn't torture us too much during signature hunt week. Huhu. Actually, I'm still pretty ambivalent joining the board. Let's just hope it'll be worth the while! :D
I realised form 6 life is making me into this laid back, down-to-earth, boring person.Omgee. hahaha. By the way, I really pray and hope to change into a more hardworking person! When I think of the gunung of maths work that doesn't seem to get any less smaller, I feel dissapointed at myself. At the start of schooling, I told myself to complete all my homework on the exact day itself but it feels like 'mission abort' rather than mission accomplish now. When will I ever learn?:(

HOME

My second brother has been back home for the past two weeks so it was extra company having him around. Went down to KL two weeks back and had a really yummy seafood dinner at Kepong. The seafood served there is to-die-for! OMIES. :) While bro was back, he blasted music using the stereo speakers in my room (and I took the chance to blast the songs I want to listen too when he's not in my room.hahaha.) Actually on normal days, I wouldn't do so cos if I do, I'll spend 3/4 of my time singing along with the songs on play rather than doing anything else, which was what happened the past week. ahah. :)
My bro got me a belated present too. Felt so embarassed after finding out what it was. He got me a dress and a white cardigan thing besides two other tees. I know I should be touched to have a bro who would buy girly things for me and it might sound sweet, but to me, I was Embarassed! :O To think that even I wouldn't get myself one if I had a choice and my brother has to do the 'girl-shopping' for me and weave 'magic' to turn me into a girly girl. Bro asked me to try it on and so I did, (with my shirt and pants on) and let my parents see and they were like grinning and there goes mom with the 'I have 3 sons in my family again'. Haihs! But thank you so much yah bro, although u won't see it! Huhu.
When my bro was back, mom and bro were like satay hunting for a week and finally they managed to eat 'em at Wooley Centre. Actually, before that, went to Simpang Tiga in Greentown to see if they are selling satays but it seems the place doesn't sell satays any longer. Plan failed again and ended up we had lunch there since we're there. Later on, walked with my mom to Guardian and shopped for groceries for my bro. The strange part of it all is when a malay shop assistant asked me, Beli untuk siapa? And I thoughtlessly said, Untuk Abang saya. Then the shop assistant kept quiet awhile and she seems to be like thinking. So i was wondering what is it? Then it came to my mind that the word Abang has two meanings. HAHA.:S Anyway, then later on, headed to Jusco with mom, bro and his friend. Got myself an entah-apa-brand new racquet! Yays! Felt happy. Wanted to get a Yonnex racquet at first but considering the price, I surrender! *takes out white flag* Ended up, buying the cheapest racquet among the cheap ones! Lol :) Bought a pair of straps for the badminton gripping part too. Hehe.
On another matter, farewell to my favourite blue 'Hero'!! Proton Wira, babai! T.T My family's proton wira car has been sold off. I really like that car although its quite prehistoric since the car has been used for the past 18 years maybe? Will miss the cooling air-conditioner of the car. In exchange, bro will hand over his Saga car to me. I should have took a photo with the car yesterday! Aiseh, didn't thought of that earlier. Huhu.
To my friends, to be honest, lately, I had the thought of distancing myself from ya'all. I feel sorry that I had this selfish thought in me but its only because I feel that by doing so, heading separate ways would be easier..:S But deep down, I really hope all of us remain as stick-like-glue friends even in the 50 or buzz light years to come!!:DD To those of you, I'll miss you people!!:) Elaine is leaving 2moro. Although she won't see this but take care and good luck, remember that its now 'my-life-is-gone-NOT' ! =) Ching too, all the bestttt and keep me updated alright, busy girl! :D And Ann, when your time comes, ganbateh and jiayouhhh to you tooooo, dumb and dumber all the way! XD Belle, I don't exactly know when she's leaving, but hwaiting too!!! :)
