Foodey food

Hi hi :)

I'm back in Ipoh during the weekends. So I thought of blogging before I nomad back to Kampar.  Currently in the midst of completing assignments and in less than 2 weeks time, its mid-term test alrd. Soo fast!! Omo.

Anyways, Thursday was a cheerful day. :) While having break in between classes, my uni friends and I went to the library. While waiting for time to pass, I received a text from my housemate 'neighbour', Mae Jean, saying 'Hello. Later lunch together!' So we did. :) Just like the week before but at a different venue. This time, she suggested Sushi King and off we went.  She said she was full after waiting for me since 11 (cos my class ended at 1.30) but when we arrived there.....she ate like a Pig! Haha. Since we both happen to like tempura, we shared a set together besides eating sushi off the sushi belt. Yum yums! It was great meal. Hees. :D (As long as I didn't think too much of the price of food). Nyek nyeks. After that, we decided to walk around Tesco to so called 'digest food'.  I dunno how but we ended up doing nonsense. Besides some silly things, we started smelling all kinds of shampoo, lotions etc just like those doggies. Aiyoo. Haha. Later, I helped her choose a pair of flip flops and tried finding her slipper size also (which there was none cos of her kici mayung feet. Aduii, around size 3 and 4 leh! Omo). At last, she got a pair of zebra flip flops for rm5 (within her proposed budget. haha) We bought toilet clorax also. There were 2 pieces in it so we decided one for me, one for her simply because she likes to see the blue colour in her toilet bowl. I kinda like it too. But what an excuse to buy things. Haha!

A day earlier, my uni assignment partners made plans for Thursday evening too. So I fetched them from their houses on that day (since I was the only one wif 'modern transport' = car. hoho). We then went to settle our textbook orders. That was our main 'objective' of meeting up actually - To go order our textbooks together. Haha :) And since we were already out together, we decided to try out a new cafĂ© nearby as well. Before this, four of us have been having breakie and lunch meals at the uni cafeteria almost everyday except Fridays. So that was our first time eating outside. :) Since it was served in those mini steamboat pots, we ordered tomyam and curry. Shared ler.

By the time I reach home, it was quite late alrd. I thought over and realized how I did nothing productive for the day except attend my classes. When I think of how much $$ flow out of my pocket for that day also, T.T..I don't want to think about it too much.:S At the same time, I had an enjoyable day too. :) It was one of those days where I did nothing but felt cheerful as well. Makes sense? Hehees. At least, I had an outing once with my uni freinds although it was just dinner (missing one member tho). I also discovered happiness in sharing food. It really doubles the happiness.:)) Not only one gets to try different dishes but the amount of $$ splits too! I get to save some $$. Hehe. :) Ehh, come uni starting to feel the pinch of negative cash flow already. Talk about getting hit hard on the head with reality! Gee gee gee. That's why I always return to my 'chap fan' category everyday where I save most. :) Thursday was an exception!

Okies. That's all for now. Bye blogsphere.

Anyeong!

I'm watching this now. Hees :D

Its called *look above*, My Love From Another Star. The drama's a recent mega hit when it was telecast in Korean channels but I've just started watching it. I'm on episode 2 only but suddenly find it niceee lor. :D I wasn't drawn into watching it earlier but I think I've had a change of heart!! (or is that a change of mind??!) Anyways, I got it transferred to my hard disk from my mom's hard disk wan so I don't need to wait for the video to load. Hehe. The wifi speed in Kampar is likeasnail wan. I don't think I can load vids with the unstable wifi connection at my Kampar residence. Luckily I've found something to look forward to when I can't go online. Oohoo! :)

My classes has officially come to an end of Week 2 and Monday comeee, its gonna be Week 3. *feel like inserting the Whatsapp emoticon with the one that has the 'Gee Gee Gee' feeling when I see it* The teeth-clenching one! Gee gee gee.

So far, I'm quite contented wif my rented room despite the daily 'visits' from my kingdom Animalia friends and the slightly leaking roof. Haha. To be more specific, the Insecta kingdom. My few housemates that I met have been very nice to me for the past two weeks also, especially two of them. They took me out for a movie, pm and dinner a few times. Gomawo. :) For my course, assignments are heading my way. Since I have 6 subjects this sem, there's 5 group assignments now. One individual one later. Aahs! FA1 assignment, how to do ler.

My daily concern now also : Banana me. Everyone speaks in mandarin wan here so I need to speak too. Speaking in mandarin as far as my vocab permits, getting mixed up with the Cantonese slang and inserting English words whenever my mandarin 'resources' fails. I feel like my tongue's tangled by the end of the day. Haha. But nvm, I shall Hwaitingg!! In what we call in uni as broadening  one's soft skills competency!! Wkaka :) Above it all, I want to understand what people are saying in mandarin esp those lengthy conversations instead of just listening passively to them oni while spending half the time trying to figure out what they're saying. Omo.
