Home alone

Holidays are on but don't feel like holidays also. Stuck with the same routine. However, its been long since I last updated my laptop's songs playlist. Updating now. Whees :)

Its been almost a week since the event but let me just summarize it to a few words. Tea party was okay. huhu. And oh, 6RE, great feat! =) Lazy to write the details. Later at night on that day, my mom called my cousin in Sarawak too so I chatted a fair bit with my cousin too. Jiayouh for exams! :)

I feel like a grandma. I feel the back strain when I sit for too long in front of the laptop (like right now). Trying my best to sit straight in class too but since my desk is right beside the wall so I've got the tendency to lean towards it. Mianhae wall, still trying! huhu.:) I shall not let my ex-deskie's efforts go to waste although she gave up on me ady! T.T Lol :D

So American Idol is over. What else to look forward to every friday? :( I can't wait for London Olympics. Faster comee! =D

On a rainy day

It's raining outside and the Maths T textbook is held between my palms. I'm staring at the book yet my mind is wandering elsewhere, lost in thought. Pondering on random thoughts one by one. It must be the craapppyyy rain making my room so cosy (plus, my air-conditioner is on) which makes me feel like just jumping straight into bed and be in my slumberland. Ohmiee. So I thought the best way is to just blog a few lines so that I can get back to my homework with my mind set to it. Bbasyah!=)

Before that, random stuff I wanna say. American Idol finale is this week. Whees~ Quite excited about it although its just another random reality tv show. But Phil phillips, you're the man!!!:D (to win it of course!) His 'Beggin' song is just stuck in my head *Beggin..oh beggin youuuhhhh* And owwhh, his last song was a change of style really. So tenderrrr. I think, you know, even the Lava Girl in the Shark Boy and Lava Girl show will melt and fall for him too. Hahahha.:P Crapping here but bear with me alright? :)

Lastly, I'm still undecided whether to participate in this year's annual Ipoh Starwalk.Hmms.Okay, gotta get back to homework. Sayonara!:)

Why am I here?

Another week just passed by. It was Okay.:) For most subjects, lessons have kickstarted. PA subject seriously requires lots of brainy thinkingg. I had difficulty finding the precise BM words to use too. Omgee. *Knocks rusty brain* Anyway, lessons suppose to start in June according to the government so actual MUET lessons have not really begun whereby it'll be conducted using academic english. Instead, we have lessons based on conversational english at the moment and lessons have been quite interesting so far! Hehe.:) Academic english is inclined towards those 'Times' business magazine sorta english- Highly factual, no fancy proses and boringgg (the teacher said it herself), while conversational english is well, how we have been conversing and writing essays all these years. Oh, the teacher's name is Miss Mindy btw.:)

Miss Mindy shared English related jokes and randomly called a few names to let us introduce ourselves in class ( And bad luck, I had a feeling I will be called out and dayum, indeed I WAS.:S) Its quite suprising also that there are students who hates English terribly. One even said it in the teacher's face out loud.Hoho. We were also given the essay titled 'Why are we here in form 6? What are our aspirations?' for our classwork yesterday. It's a personal sorta essay but I was blank in school so brought it back home to write. It really got me thinking, why am I here?

Today, the teacher randomly called a few names to talk in front of the class to tell something about themselves and why they are here in form 6. From those few people who were called out, I realised everyone actually has a distinct 'story-of-my-life' and among them, there was one that was pretty similar to mine. I don't know why but this session was quite meaningful to me because as the teacher said, sessions like this allows us to know a person especially whom we don't know at all, better, and before this, we might have had first impressions of people without actually knowing them but after they share their personal stories, we might have a different impression. I concur with what she has said. I really enjoyed this session because I know my name won't be called a second time so soon, since yesterday I was called out dee.Hahaha. So no worries for me unlike Ngai Ching who was was hoping not to be called out.HAHA. She sits beside me in class btw.

For next week, we're given a task to review an article/picture of our choice from the newspapers. After the holidays, we have another assignment. We get to choose our favourite English song that we all really like as a group consisting of 4-5 people. Then,we're suppose to bring the different songs to school and listen to it as a class together. Later on, in our respective groups, we'll have to give reasons as to why we chose the song, explain the lyrics of the song in our own perspective and also share our thoughts on what values or story that we learnt from that one song. Also, we'll have to omit 10 words from the song for I forgot what reason.huhu. Sounds quite nicee eh? Hope so it'll be. =)

Heading down to KL for the weekends. Whops, American Idol's starting! YAYS! Bye bye blogspot. Will keep it updated.:D

A new chapter, a new beginning

One week of school is officially...Over. Yays!:D Basically, the first day was registration (paid rm45) and we had orientation for the rest of the week. During orientation, all we mostly did was sat in the auditorium hall and listened to various talks. Talks on the new modular system, briefing on every stpm subject, career talks by different invited speakers, scholarships, biasiswa, school tradition, discipline and a motivational speech. Yawned many times in the hall.hehehah. We had some signature hunting too to get all the main commitee of teachers to sign. It was troublesome and we didn't manage to complet it. Not forgetting, we all still get lost in school at times.huhu.

Actually, I don't think the new modular system is any much easier at all! Due to the extra courseworks, practicals and presentations taken into credit for stpm, I think it means more work actually. Plus, every exam for every sem carries a different weightage which will be accumulated to calculate the aggregate CGPA at the end of form 6. And the maths teacher mentioned that he won't be able to turn a blind eye over our project like other teachers used to for form 5 addmaths project (If u still rmbr, the answers are all over the net! Copy and paste!Ahaha.) So being consistent is vital.:(

On friday, as soon as we enter the hall, we were taught to sing the school song. The teacher who taught us to sing was a Malay chubby man. He really reminded me of P. Ramlee. He wore a sarong and songkok somemore. And when he sang, he was like clapping and reciting the beat *1, 2, 3 and 4. tam ti tam ti dam* So cute! Hees. No wonder he received a big round of applause at the end of the session.:D But ACS school's song sounds really like a marching parade song. Later on after recess, we were sorted out into classes. Our class has 61 people! Crazeh. Our class has the largest number of students followed by the first physics class. We were suppose to go into our respective classes today but cos there might be lack of chairs and tables, so Monday only they'll sort us out again.:)

Which means classes will officially commence next Monday. But we haven't got any textbooks yet so I wonder how we will start studying. I guess that's the teacher's job.hehe. Anyway, I hope I won't have to sit too far behind in class or my eyes will just be even more blind than I already am. Aahs! So must rush to 'chope' those tables and seats. 61 people mweh!! :D Next week onwards, we gotta start wearing the complete uniform with tie and badge as well as decide on what co-curricular activites to join. Aiseh. What to join, anyone??!!

Talking about the badge, we were actually given temporary badges during orientation. So after school, I went for lunch. Then, I wanted to go to the toilet so I decided to keep the badge in my blouse pocket in case it falls off into wherever. See see, I forgot to take it out from the blouse so it went straight into the washing machine where my badge must have spinned a hundred times or so.. Luckily, the paper with my name inside was saved by the transparent plastic outside! Phew~

Also, there will be a tea party for all lower six students at the end of May. Its like a welcoming party organised by the upper six students. Tea party reminds me of enid blyton books when those fairies and teddies come alive in the midnight, don't u feel so? :D We'll have to come up with a class performance on that day too and every student has to be involve. Aihhs. It'll be a big headache for sure. Ohya, Kiirtaara was elected as our class monitor so she'll be our new mother.:)

This has been a long long post. Sorry for wasting your time if you actually read everything. I'm still very free that's why.ehehs.:) Oh, my eldest brother will be back soon. He just finished exams so all there's left for him is graduation. How nicee.eees.

Like camelias and azaleas

School's starting soon once again. Washed my shoes, dugged and cleaned my shelves (halfway), bought the uniforms and its just showing up at school left. To be honest, I'm not at all excited to go to school. What more, the tuitions. But I'll be optimistic aiy aiy! :D

Loading e drama now. Its so cutee! Whuahhh.:DD But most probably, it'll be my last drama to feel hype about in the coming months. Sobsob.

I've run out of things to rant about so I shall keep this post short and simple.:)
