A new chapter, a new beginning

One week of school is officially...Over. Yays!:D Basically, the first day was registration (paid rm45) and we had orientation for the rest of the week. During orientation, all we mostly did was sat in the auditorium hall and listened to various talks. Talks on the new modular system, briefing on every stpm subject, career talks by different invited speakers, scholarships, biasiswa, school tradition, discipline and a motivational speech. Yawned many times in the hall.hehehah. We had some signature hunting too to get all the main commitee of teachers to sign. It was troublesome and we didn't manage to complet it. Not forgetting, we all still get lost in school at times.huhu.

Actually, I don't think the new modular system is any much easier at all! Due to the extra courseworks, practicals and presentations taken into credit for stpm, I think it means more work actually. Plus, every exam for every sem carries a different weightage which will be accumulated to calculate the aggregate CGPA at the end of form 6. And the maths teacher mentioned that he won't be able to turn a blind eye over our project like other teachers used to for form 5 addmaths project (If u still rmbr, the answers are all over the net! Copy and paste!Ahaha.) So being consistent is vital.:(

On friday, as soon as we enter the hall, we were taught to sing the school song. The teacher who taught us to sing was a Malay chubby man. He really reminded me of P. Ramlee. He wore a sarong and songkok somemore. And when he sang, he was like clapping and reciting the beat *1, 2, 3 and 4. tam ti tam ti dam* So cute! Hees. No wonder he received a big round of applause at the end of the session.:D But ACS school's song sounds really like a marching parade song. Later on after recess, we were sorted out into classes. Our class has 61 people! Crazeh. Our class has the largest number of students followed by the first physics class. We were suppose to go into our respective classes today but cos there might be lack of chairs and tables, so Monday only they'll sort us out again.:)

Which means classes will officially commence next Monday. But we haven't got any textbooks yet so I wonder how we will start studying. I guess that's the teacher's job.hehe. Anyway, I hope I won't have to sit too far behind in class or my eyes will just be even more blind than I already am. Aahs! So must rush to 'chope' those tables and seats. 61 people mweh!! :D Next week onwards, we gotta start wearing the complete uniform with tie and badge as well as decide on what co-curricular activites to join. Aiseh. What to join, anyone??!!

Talking about the badge, we were actually given temporary badges during orientation. So after school, I went for lunch. Then, I wanted to go to the toilet so I decided to keep the badge in my blouse pocket in case it falls off into wherever. See see, I forgot to take it out from the blouse so it went straight into the washing machine where my badge must have spinned a hundred times or so.. Luckily, the paper with my name inside was saved by the transparent plastic outside! Phew~

Also, there will be a tea party for all lower six students at the end of May. Its like a welcoming party organised by the upper six students. Tea party reminds me of enid blyton books when those fairies and teddies come alive in the midnight, don't u feel so? :D We'll have to come up with a class performance on that day too and every student has to be involve. Aihhs. It'll be a big headache for sure. Ohya, Kiirtaara was elected as our class monitor so she'll be our new mother.:)

This has been a long long post. Sorry for wasting your time if you actually read everything. I'm still very free that's why.ehehs.:) Oh, my eldest brother will be back soon. He just finished exams so all there's left for him is graduation. How nicee.eees.
