Read or EXIT! HAHA

WONKS! I've been waiting all week long to come online, what more blog. Because it'll be such a lenthy post, I decided to split it into two parts. Don't get blind! :D

SCHOOL

Last Friday was ACS Sports Day. It felt more like a carnival to me cos for one, everyone seems to be wearing all sorts of tees. Starwalk, tees of their own, their former school tees, etc etc. It was messy and like a rojak. It was as if several events were being held at the same time so it was more like a rojak carnival. It really lacked the fire and powah it should have! Then there seems to be no sporting spirit throughout the event. Didn't hear a single cheer at all except for the 100m girls' event whereby a girl shouted in support of her team member's victory. Plus, a majority of students left the school grounds in the midst of sports day and the school was practically empty even before sports day was officially over.=]
Soo anyway, just finished MUET pre-test just a few days back. For speaking, I only got a Band 4 out of 6 Bands which is just at the border you can say. No one got a band 5 so far but there are close to it. According to teacher, I'm not cohesive enough so gotta work on that! hehe. Shall improve my english speaking skills in future! :) For the reading section, we had to answer 45 questions. It reminded me of sitting for the New South Wales English competition last year cos its pretty much similar but comparatively easier. Not bad.=) Next Monday, we are suppose to shout out loud from two opposite ends of the school field for speaking skills to amplify our voice volume.Lol. (that's what the teacher said she intends to do. Don't know its for real or a joke though.)
Oh yeah, the kokurikulum system in ACS is different from MGS. To be part of the commitee of a society is not based on majority/popularity votes. Instead, its up to you to choose the post you wish to hold and attend an interview process. So the first step is of course whether you wish to seek for a post or not. I'm not really used to it because it feels a bit strange to choose the post you want. Then came my next thought, is it okay if he/she aims for a high post? Maybe I'm just conservative in this sense. Otherwise, I think selection of candidates based on interview may be better than a majority voting basis since assessment can be done.:)
Talking about kokurikulum, had my first badminton meeting several days back on Wednesday. Weeess! Well, simply said, I never exercised for AGES. I repeat. AGESSS. Not weeks or months but maybe about a year or so. I can't vividly remember the last time I exercised but if I'm not mistaken, it was during the last PJ lesson in Form 5 last year. So imagined, a year without any workout and then suddenly I started stretching those flabby muscles. I didn't do any warm up at the start and imeediately got into action for around 2 hours with rest intervals in between of course. But oh gosh, ran around the court and sweat like mad. The badminton hall was steaming hot like sauna cos there weren't fans ( or u can say there were lots of fans, but they weren't switched on cos the wind will just affect the game). I see everyone there sweating like mad, even the ones just sitting on the side bench was bathing in sweat. But it was fun being able to whack the shuttlecock afew times! *pariah english* and sweat profusely after a long time. It felt great! :)
Mann, by the time I reach home, I was aching all over till when I wanted to write, I couldn't grip the pen and write. My hand was shaking. That was how energyless I became. Luckily I didn't need to write much that day. Phew.
Probation duty for prefects starts next week.Let's just hope the prefectorial board doesn't torture us too much during signature hunt week. Huhu. Actually, I'm still pretty ambivalent joining the board. Let's just hope it'll be worth the while! :D
I realised form 6 life is making me into this laid back, down-to-earth, boring person.Omgee. hahaha. By the way, I really pray and hope to change into a more hardworking person! When I think of the gunung of maths work that doesn't seem to get any less smaller, I feel dissapointed at myself. At the start of schooling, I told myself to complete all my homework on the exact day itself but it feels like 'mission abort' rather than mission accomplish now. When will I ever learn?:(

HOME

My second brother has been back home for the past two weeks so it was extra company having him around. Went down to KL two weeks back and had a really yummy seafood dinner at Kepong. The seafood served there is to-die-for! OMIES. :) While bro was back, he blasted music using the stereo speakers in my room (and I took the chance to blast the songs I want to listen too when he's not in my room.hahaha.) Actually on normal days, I wouldn't do so cos if I do, I'll spend 3/4 of my time singing along with the songs on play rather than doing anything else, which was what happened the past week. ahah. :)
My bro got me a belated present too. Felt so embarassed after finding out what it was. He got me a dress and a white cardigan thing besides two other tees. I know I should be touched to have a bro who would buy girly things for me and it might sound sweet, but to me, I was Embarassed! :O To think that even I wouldn't get myself one if I had a choice and my brother has to do the 'girl-shopping' for me and weave 'magic' to turn me into a girly girl. Bro asked me to try it on and so I did, (with my shirt and pants on) and let my parents see and they were like grinning and there goes mom with the 'I have 3 sons in my family again'. Haihs! But thank you so much yah bro, although u won't see it! Huhu.
When my bro was back, mom and bro were like satay hunting for a week and finally they managed to eat 'em at Wooley Centre. Actually, before that, went to Simpang Tiga in Greentown to see if they are selling satays but it seems the place doesn't sell satays any longer. Plan failed again and ended up we had lunch there since we're there. Later on, walked with my mom to Guardian and shopped for groceries for my bro. The strange part of it all is when a malay shop assistant asked me, Beli untuk siapa? And I thoughtlessly said, Untuk Abang saya. Then the shop assistant kept quiet awhile and she seems to be like thinking. So i was wondering what is it? Then it came to my mind that the word Abang has two meanings. HAHA.:S Anyway, then later on, headed to Jusco with mom, bro and his friend. Got myself an entah-apa-brand new racquet! Yays! Felt happy. Wanted to get a Yonnex racquet at first but considering the price, I surrender! *takes out white flag* Ended up, buying the cheapest racquet among the cheap ones! Lol :) Bought a pair of straps for the badminton gripping part too. Hehe.
On another matter, farewell to my favourite blue 'Hero'!! Proton Wira, babai! T.T My family's proton wira car has been sold off. I really like that car although its quite prehistoric since the car has been used for the past 18 years maybe? Will miss the cooling air-conditioner of the car. In exchange, bro will hand over his Saga car to me. I should have took a photo with the car yesterday! Aiseh, didn't thought of that earlier. Huhu.
To my friends, to be honest, lately, I had the thought of distancing myself from ya'all. I feel sorry that I had this selfish thought in me but its only because I feel that by doing so, heading separate ways would be easier..:S But deep down, I really hope all of us remain as stick-like-glue friends even in the 50 or buzz light years to come!!:DD To those of you, I'll miss you people!!:) Elaine is leaving 2moro. Although she won't see this but take care and good luck, remember that its now 'my-life-is-gone-NOT' ! =) Ching too, all the bestttt and keep me updated alright, busy girl! :D And Ann, when your time comes, ganbateh and jiayouhhh to you tooooo, dumb and dumber all the way! XD Belle, I don't exactly know when she's leaving, but hwaiting too!!! :)
