Move On

The sinking feeling when the gap between results and my expectations are bridging further apart instead of closing in. Haih

People seem to have a way for it while a general comparison between me and them would have easily made known I'm nowhere as good as others. Particularly, iT. What makes it difficult for me to envision myself in the near future is making an independent judgment and feeling confident about it. Until now, I am not bold enough to present answers on my own without a sense of doubt, a hands-on question would send me in a wave of panic and it has left me thinking that I am inept for it. I wish I was better.

Attitude is the hardest part to change in someone, correct? Unfortunately, like everyone else, I am one of that "someone" who finds it so difficult not to fall back into that lazy repetitive pattern. Change change change.

Sorry for the the slightly sulky blog post.

Anyways, on a lighter note, I watched this TED talk by Guy Winch. I've not watch many Ted talks. haha, so yes, so far, its one of the best Ted talks I've seen! =) Wanna share it with you guys. If u all can spare the time, its 17 minutes long but a sincere, interesting talk. His idea is this - emotional hygiene. :))  http://www.ted.com/talks/guy_winch_the_case_for_emotional_hygiene#t-20180
The thing is, he really needs a follow up to this to explain further on the "how to" steps. :)

One of the days during holidays, I watch back the show 'Bridge of Terabithia' cos when I was younger, I remember disliking the show simply cos I couldn't understand what the show's about. Now that I've rewatch it, no wonder. It was all the kids' imagination. Everything about Terabithia which I thought was real (once-upon-a-time) was actually purely imaginative. HAHA. Its funny how I dislike the show back then cos of the sad ending, now that I fully understand the show, omo, its such a meaningful and nice movie. :))

The trip to Malacca was a foodie trip. Since it was only a night there, we spent the whole evening walking along Jonker Street grabbing the food that we felt like eating. Yums!! So many nice local food. The satay celup was so awesomee!! :)) Then there's durian puff, durian cendol and coconut shake. Yummy! Only surprisingly, the nyonya food that we ate didn't really taste nice which include the nyonya laksa.
